1. What Is Wotaboutme?
 

www.wotaboutme.com.au  is an automated management system, enabling salons, day spas and health clubs to ‘sell live’.  It creates a market place for appointment-times by enabling you to better manage your appointment and demands through competitive pricing, while maintaining absolute control over pricing at the salon or office.

The service lowers your administration costs, increases the customer market size and processes confirmed and paid bookings online.  Most importantly, our fees are success based. This means that unless we sell your service, listing is totally free. There are no upfront costs for the software and there is no rental or monthly account keeping charge, www.wotaboutme.com.au is a booking agent and charges 15% of the value of the booking to the salon for transactions processed through our website. Remember that this amount will be deducted from the monies received at the time of booking so you are never actually ‘out of pocket’.

All fees collected by Wotaboutme will be paid to you within 14 days. You will only be charged for booking and gift certificates sold through Wotaboutme. There is no charge for bookings made to your salon through traditional channels e.g. phone bookings.
Clients will have the ability to view your information page and immediately see the details of the services that you have available. When they have selected the service that they would like, they can then proceed to the booking page. You will be able to specify wether or not your service requires varied times (eg massage for 30min) and you will be able to control this through the settings in your salons “login” page.

It is here in this “Login” section that you are able to adjust the services that you have available as well as adjust and update your salons details. This enables the public to get a ‘feel’ for you salon and what you are offering. Make sure you upload images and details of what your salon has to offer.

2. How will Wotaboutme Help My Business?
  The Booking Portal is open 24/7. Never will you miss a potential customer because you are closed. Clients wont need to ‘leave a message’ and therefore will not require a ‘call back’ the next day. Reduce the amounts of expensive mobile phone call backs.

You are able to determine what times are available and what are not. Reduce the amount of double bookings and increase appointments in your ‘down time’.

Reduce ‘no shows’!! Your appointments made through Wotaboutme are prepaid so by the time you get the notification the appointment has already been paid in full. Clients are more likely to turn up if they have already paid the fees!!

SMS reminders are available for those clients that can never seem to remember their appointments. They can select a range of timed SMS prompts prior to their appointment to remind them of there up and coming appointment.

3. What special systems or computers do I need?
 

If you are able to connect to the internet you are able to run Wotaboutme. There is no software to purchase nor is there any expensive downloads. Wotaboutme will run on both dial up and broadband. It all depends on your preference.

Systems failures are very are but of course can happen. If this is the case we would endeavour to have the system fixed and operating within as shorter time frame as possible.

4. What is the hidden cost? It can’t be this easy?
  Wotaboutme is a booking agent and charges 15% of the value of the booking to the salon for transactions processed through our website. That’s it!! We do not charge to list your business in the booking salon nor do we charge to list your services in the Gift Certificate or Booking Portal. We are success driven therefore we will do our utmost to promote the site and therefore sell your services, otherwise we wouldn’t get paid, would we?

You wont receive monthly bills nor will you be expected to pay for service upgrades, rental or software.

5. So how do I sign up?
  If you have read all the information and would like to sign up please click on the link below and it will take you t the sign up page. Your details will be sent to administration and if approved, you will be forwarded an email notifying that your Username and Password have been activated. It is then time to load in all your salons information and images as well as the services that you have on offer. Remember we are only an email away so if you are having problems let us know, we would be happy to help.
