1. What is Wotaboutme?
 

Wotaboutme is a web based booking portal that allows you, as the public, to book appointments online, in your time. It provides maximum convenience as Wotaboutme is open for bookings 24/7. It offers the broadest range of personal lifestyle services available in Australia. Never will you miss out on an appointment because the salon had closed and you had to “leave a message” which was never returned. You simply choose what service you want, select which salon is offering that service and thn confirm and pay for your booking. Ou get to choose your appointment time from the times that are available, process the booking form, pay for your service and then receive a fully itemized booking confirmation. It is very simple and easy.
You, as the public, can view information pages for each service provider and immediately view details of available times.

To book an appointment only takes a simple few steps;

  • Select the service that you would like to book from the booking portal
  • Follow the prompts to the sign up page. You will only need to fill this out once. You will be able to choose a user name & password. This will the enable you to ‘sign in’ as a member when booking appointments in the future.
  • You will be shown the details of the service you have selected, if this is correct you proceed to ‘check out’
  • You will be linked to a secure payment area where you can enter your credit card details. This is a secure payment site.
  • Appointment booked!!! All you have to do now is print out your confirmation and turn up for you appointment. SIMPLE!!
We also offer the service of SMS reminders that will be sent to either your mobile or your email. You can select your reminder to be 24hours before your appointment or 1 hour prior, its your choice.

2. What If I Need To Change Or Cancel My Booking ?
  On your confirmation you will receive your salons details and contact phone numbers. Give them a call as they will be happy to work something out for you. Refunds will not be be given in cash, if an alternate appointment isn’t available you will be issued a voucher to the amount to be used at a later date.

3. What about me? How does it benefit me?
 

Never miss out on booking your next relaxation or beauty service at the salon of your choice. Do you travel interstate? Book ahead and treat yourself to a relaxing massage or to a new look.  The booking portal is available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Receive instant confirmation of your booking as well as contact details and a detailed map of were your Salon is situated. Avoid the frustration of calling and having to leave a message then waiting by the phone to be called back.

Once the appointment is made, organise a reminder to minimise the embarrassment of forgetting your booking.

4. What Computer system would I need to be able to use Wotaboutme?
  As long as your computer system can receive and send emails and as long as you have access to the internet you can use wotaboutme. We do not require a super fast internet connection, we work with both dial up and broadband.

5. How Do I Know What Businesses Are Offering a service in the booking portal?
  If you are searching through the directory, business that have a service listed in the booking portal will have a “Book Now” icon. Click on this and it will take you to a full list of their services

6. What if I would like to make a booking at my favourite salon but they aren’t on Wotaboutme?
  Tell them about us!!  We do our best to try and contact every business but some may have slipped through the cracks. Let them know who we are and get them to contact us. We would love to hear from them. Sometimes they just need a little nudge so they realise how many bookings they are missing out on by not being on Wotaboutme.

7. So what’s the catch?
  There are no hidden catches and no hidden fees. You will be charged for the service that you have selected and a $2.50 credit card processing fee. That’s it. Gift certificates do incur a postage charge but it is only charged at a standard Australian Postal Charge.
